Ethically Sourced Organic Ingredients:
All of the ingredients that we use in any of our products must pass the following tests:
Grown Without Chemicals:
All ingredients are either certified organic, grown by us without chemicals or ethically wild-foraged by us.
Fair Trade:
Wherever required, we source ingredients that are certified fair trade. This includes all of the exotic, non-indigenous species.
Plant/Fungus is not endangered:
None of our products contain ingredients from species that are listed as endangered, threatened or at risk (International Red List).
Research-Based Ingredients:
At Earth Elements Botanicals a huge focus is on product efficacy! We put a lot of thought, time and research into creating each and every one of our products. We agree that taste, scent and colour are all very important, but not essential in a 'wellness' sense. Each ingredient is selected only after we have extensively researched its efficacy (supported by clinical research) as well as its safety AND tested it ourselves.
No Artificial Additives:
None of our products contain any artificial flavours, colours, fragrances, binders or preservatives. We incorporate fruits, essential oils, and natural herbs, to flavour/scent our products. Our products contain zero gluten.

Currently our tea packages have a multi-layered construction ensuring optimal freshness (tea should be protected from light, air and moisture). The standup zip pouches are made from kraft paper with a moisture barrier. Their light weight and flexibility ensures lowest shipping costs and requires less fuel for transport. We are currently looking for an affordable alternative that is fully biodegradable.

We print on durable thermal transfer labels that don’t require wasteful ink, and don’t smudge or peel off easily.

We are Maria (known to her friends as Mia) and Peter (known to his friends as Pete) and are absolutely passionate about our quest of existing with Nature in balance through the constant changes evolving in our world today. We firmly believe that for every natural ailment Nature has provided a remedy. Thousands of hours have been spent researching texts long forgotten, and learning Shamanic and Indigenous healing methods of different cultures as they apply to us here in Canada. Everything we offer for sale has been consumed or applied by us and our family in context. Through this experience our motto has become, ‘Healing by Nature’.

All of our products are processed, blended, packaged and shipped in-house by us with a very keen eye on quality control ensuring only the best comes to you. Mia crafts our tea blends in small batches for incoming orders to ensure freshness and quality.
