Detox cleanse specifically formulated for liver function. Not a daily sipping tea but an important function to keep our liver healthy and vibrant.
Arcticum lappa root (Burdock), Foeniculum vulgare seed (Fennel), Silybum marianum seed (Milk Thistle), Zingiber officinale (Ginger root), Glycyrrhiza glabra root (Licorice), Curcuma longa root (Turmeric), Piper nigrum (Black Pepper).
All ingredients not grown in Mia's garden are sourced from Canadian distributors and she only buys wild or organically grown herbs and roots.
This special tea blend is put together by Mia with love and healing intentions using tried and tested recipes created by Master Herbalists.
Our liver is responsible for filtering our blood and clearing out all poisons including alcohol. Among the livers most important functions are regulating metabolism, immunity, digestion, blood detoxification, and vitamin storage. If our liver is not doing well, generally neither are we! Especially hard on the liver: alcohol, fatty foods, sugar (especially high fructose syrups), kava kava, soft drinks, acetaminophen, trans fats, pork, processed and fatty foods, refined carbs… to list some!
The good news is that if we take care of it, (eating and drinking properly) the liver can heal itself!
Use one tablespoon to a mug of hot water, let steep 8-10 minutes.
Consume one cup, one hour before bed. Next morning, before anything else, drink one cup warm water.
Continue for only 14 consecutive days. Take a break for one month.
This tea is a detox cleanse for the liver. It may make you feel yucky at first, that’s the liver being cleaned out. This is NOT a tea to consume every day!
