Our Lymph Drainage herbal/medicinal tea blend may support lymph, kidneys, and general immune function. May gently facilitate drainage of toxins through the lymph system allowing a more vital and energized feeling. May be a contributor to total body health and maintenence!
Galium aparine (Cleavers), Arctium lappa root (Burdock), Taraxacum officinale root (Dandelion), Vaccinium macrocarpon berry (Cranberry), Ocimum sanctum leaf (Tulsi), Glycyrrhiza glabbra root (Licorice), Sambucus nigra berry (Elderberry), Rosa canina fruit (Rosehip), Zingiber officinale root (Ginger), Calendula officinalis flower (Calendula).
All ingredients not grown in Mia's garden are sourced from Canadian distributors and she only buys wild or organically grown herbs and roots.
A fully functioning lymph system is vital for overall body health and immune system function. The simplest way to encourage adequate lymph 'flow' and circulation is to hydrate... drink clean water! Not so simple these days, right!
As humans moved through the industrial era into a more sedentary 'information' era, drinking everything but water became fashionable! Diuretic caffeinated drinks, energy drinks, 'healthy' kombuchas and alcohols expell precious water from our bodies causing our lymph system to become sluggish and imbalanced. This can lead to a host of conditions including swelling (edema), compromised immunity, accumulation of toxins, fat deposition, smelly sweat, and erratic blood pressure.
Supporting our lymphatic system is very important to maintain healthy organ systems and a functioning body immunity. With drinking-water being compromised or simply laced with undesirable chamicals it has become difficult to maintain the bodies lymphatic system. Lack of regular exercise, proper bioavailable nutritious diet, and other factors have also contributed to an overall unhealthy humanity. This herbal/medicinal tea has been blended specifically to support the natural function of lymph drainage and an overall healthy immune system.
One tablespoon tea in a mug. Pour over hot water (112 F) and let steep for 10-15 min. Drink 1-2 cups daily for a few weeks. Take a break. Then resume. Remember, too much of a good thing is no longer a good thing!
The herbs chosen for this blend complement one another and support the movement and flow of lymph fluid, thereby also supporting kidney and immune function. This leads to the gentle draining of toxins allowing a more energized and full body balance feeling.
